Topology is a method of preparing a network. Topologies are of many types.

BUS TOPOLOGY-

CSMA / CD / CA

• CSMA – CARRIER SENCE MULTI PALE ACCESS
• CD – COLLISION DETECTION
• CA – COLLISION AVOID

When there is a way to pack data packets in a network and many users will be transferring data packets among themselves, then this technique will work there.

Start Topology-

This topology is today’s popular topology. USE can use this topology to create any small network. There is a CENTRAL DEVICE in this topology and every user has different routes to reach another user, together we can send data to all of them.

Hybrid Topology –

The topology that is created by combining more than one topology is called hybrid topology.

MESH TOPOLOGY-

This topology is the most popular topology, it is used to build a network of large companies. In this topology, every user has more than one route to go to another user.
